It all started riding the Gravel on vintage bikes which still happens and extreemly popular. Eroica has expanded throughout Italy and world wide. They select locations carefully to ensure maximum enjoyments for raiders that take part. With that in mind the Eroica Prosecco Hills is no exception and in an amazing location, I can vouch for that as it’s the area where my family live.
The beauty of the white roads, from the landscape to the traditions, from nature to history: NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills starts with a desire to share an epic experience in the heart of this magnificent UNESCO World Heritage countryside, among Prosecco vineyards, medieval castles, ancient hamlets and the Alps. NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills is an All Road cycling event in pure Eroica style, conceived for those who want to experience the thrill of a challenge in the saddle of their modern racing, gravel or cyclo-cross bikes.
The event offers three distances to choose from which are detailed below .
How long is the Eroica Prosecco Hills ?
Short Course
Medieval castles, vineyard-covered hills, little hamlets and magnificent white roads. The Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills short route draws the essence of the territory together, offering, in a few kilometres, the heroic pleasure of some “scintillating” climbs. On reaching Collagù, after a steep incline, you will understand why UNESCO chose to protect these hills, and the memory of the first food stop will stay with you.

Medium Course
Some rides, shared with friends, remind you why you love cycling: climbs among vines, downhill dashes along magnificent white roads, views that show how this land is a magical fusion of nature and history. The Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills medium route is all this and much more. It will put heart, lungs and legs to the test, with a tough climb towards the beautiful Rolle area.

Long Course
120km of enjoyment and fatigue. This would suffice to describe the Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills long route. Steep climbs, long white roads among perfect hills, which seem made for losing yourself on your bike; lakes and views that taste of history and of Prosecco. From Susegana to Valdobbiadene it will be an endless roller coaster, up and down without stopping, if not for a glass of Prosecco.

Weekends Plan
Thursday – Arrive check-in , unpack, relax, build bikes (if not transported) , shower evening meal.
Friday – Local ride maybe circa 75km > 100km
Saturday – Relax time and sign on , visit expo

Coach departs at 13:30

Coach departs from the hotel at 10:30 a.m.Monday after the event
It’a s circa 60 minutes – 50km transfer, so book your return flight with this in mind

The organisers will email early next year with a link to download personal details which will include your medical certificate. So I suggest you have this document ready by 31/3 to be ready to download it to the organisers.
