Once again we are pleased to announce that we will be attending the Giro d’italia for the 2025 edition. We believe this will be the most exciting Giro for a some time, why you may ask when every year the Giro delivers with drama and excitement.
The 2025 Giro will go one step further , the final stage or final but one may well finish at the top of the Stelvio Pass. The reason behind is two fold the last time this happened was in 1975 with a 186km stage won by Spanish rider Francisco Galdós Gauna and the other reason is that the road was built 200 years ago so two significant reasons in Italian History.
The Stelvio stage with out a doubt will be full of Italian magic for many reasons, here’s a few , riders battling it out for the GC , stage winner , riders trying to make the time cut so they are on the final GC list or a classification jersey , lets not forget the team prize. So for many this will a magical Giro and one not to be missed.
This trip combines , the Giro with the chance for riders to tick off bucket list climbs like Stelvio , Mortirolo, Gavia , Cancano , Foscango, to name a few all used in past Giro. We will be running a 4 day trip out on a Thursday and returning home on the Monday.
We will be residing in the heart of Bormio (1km from the Stelvio) at a wonderful family run 4 star hotel on a half board basis (bed breakfast and evening meal). After a hard day in the saddle you can have a superb relaxation in the wellness center and make use of the swimming pool prior to dinner. The hotel also has a very secure underground bike storage facility for your bike and offers free of charge a cycle clothing washing service. I have personally stayed at this hotel for the past 8 years and use it when in Bormio. It’s a well run family hotel with excellent service along with superb food and spacious rooms – Hotel Palace.
We will be offering a bike transport service subject to 15 bookings .

If this trip is for you but your not finally 100% sure or when the dates are officially announced you can not make it then don’t worry you will get a FULL refund of your reservation fee which is £25.00 per person. When the dates are announced if they are OK for you then the £25 will be used to reduce your trip cost and appear on your statement.

Flight arrivals & departures
Outbound
Fly into Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 2 area B , gate 8
Ensure you are cleared through customs by 13:00
Coach departs Terminal 2 at 13:30 a.m.
Return
Coach departs from the hotel at 10:00 a.m to Milan Malpensa Terminal 1
3 to 3.5 – hour transfer, so book your return flight with this in mind.
Bike Transport Service
We will be offering a bike transport service from the UK whereby your bike will be in the hotel secure storage prior to your arrival. Providing we get 15 bookings we will offer this service (£190.00)
