2025 GF Lombradia – Felice Gimondi
Event Date: 12/10/2025 Tour Dates: 10/10/2025 - 13/10/2025What a way to end your season with the classic Il Lombardia – Felice Gimondi which is the final monument event of the year, 2023 was our first visit and we were NOT disappointed. We are based 10km from the start / finish (Cantu) this gives us a nice warm up to the start and it’s a fantastic 4 star hotel.
Our trip enables you to enjoy the Pro race and then take on circa 112km in the Gran Fondo on the Sunday. Our base will be just outside Cantu and a short ride to watch the the Pro race.
We will meet you at Milan Malpensa Airport and it’s circa an hour to drive to our hotel. As part of our package your entry to the event is included as it is with all our events. Should you want your non cycling partner to join then we adjust the price down.
The classic Tour of Lombardy, known as the Race of the Falling Leaves, starts in Como and finishes in Bergamo for the 2023 edition. The often reverse the course so we await which was they go in 2024. The Gran Fondo route takes in two famous climbs Muro Di Sormano (20%+) and the famous “church” as its known Madonna del Ghisallo.
We are staying an excellent 4 star hotel catering for your needs ! – we have twin rooms and double rooms with single occupancy
Weekends Plan ?
Friday – Arrival , unpack , go to sign subject to time
Saturday – Visit Expo , go to sign on , ride out to a pro race location dependant upon the route the pro race takes
Sunday – Gran Fondo Start at 07:30 – we have a 10km wam up ride to the start – cut time 14:30
Monday – leave circa 12:00 midday
How long is the Lombardia – Falling Leaves ?
- 112 Km one distance (that’s what they say but it’s actually 120km)
Your Gran Fondo starts at 07:30 in Cantu and we will have a short ride to the start

Ensure you are cleared through customs as the coach leaves at 13:30 mid day date tbc
Coach departs at 14:00

1 hour (approx.) transfer, so book your return flight with this in mind.
